Who are we ?
Delta, a human adventure led by climbing enthusiasts
Delta is, above all, the story of three climbing enthusiasts united by a shared dream: to make training accessible, flexible, and environmentally friendly for every climber, wherever they are. We're not just a gear brand; we're a team of climbers who, like you, are constantly seeking to improve, push our limits, and adapt our practice to an urban lifestyle.
Born from our desire to meet the real needs of climbers, Delta was created to offer unique solutions that integrate harmoniously into living spaces. Our products, such as the
Behind every Delta product is a passion for climbing and a sincere commitment to our community.
And who are the faces behind Delta? Meet Noah, Theodore, and Samuel, three dedicated climbers whose unique journeys brought this adventure to life.
Noah Ydais
Noé began his studies in science before enrolling in an engineering school. However, working in a large corporation didn't provide the meaning he was looking for. He felt deeply frustrated, seeing himself confined to tasks far removed from his technical skills and his need to create. Climbing then became an escape, then a true passion, occupying a central place in his life.
Entrepreneurship then emerged as a natural adventure, allowing him to realize this creative desire. At the same time, Noé worked at Arkose as a host and successfully completed the route-setter training at Climb Up in 2024.
Since September 2024, he has once again dedicated his time to Delta, where his passion and experience are fully expressed. Noé is now a qualified climbing guide.
“Climbing taught me to push my limits, and Delta is the natural extension of that personal journey,” he says.
Samuel Mededowsky
Samuel is the creative member of the team. A passionate web designer, he pursued his career while investing in the Delta adventure. He is the architect of Delta's iconic visual image: from the logo to the graphic charter, from the website to social media.
A climber himself, Samuel knows how much aesthetics also count in training tools.
Still a designer and artistic director at Metalab, he now lives in the French Alps, where he can easily enjoy climbing and skiing in the great outdoors.
“For me, every product should inspire, and that's what I strive to achieve,” shares Samuel, putting all his talent into the service of Delta's visibility and identity.
Théodore Raby
Théodore, also a trained engineer specializing in aeronautics, quickly felt the need to give more meaning to his initial career. His passion for climbing prompted him to reorient himself, obtaining a state diploma to become a climbing coach. His dual skills as an engineer and coach give Delta a unique vision: technically reliable products perfectly suited to climbers.
Today, Théodore is a full-time climbing coach, notably training athletes preparing for the French senior national team. After serving as climbing course manager at Climb Up Porte d'Italie, he continues to work as a route designer in climbing gyms.
Although he no longer works directly for Delta due to his full-time commitment as a coach, Theodore remains part of the team. He is often called upon for his valuable climbing coaching expertise on small assignments.
“Helping others progress has always been a source of motivation for me,” explains Théodore, now renowned in the climbing community.
Noé and Théodore met during their graduate studies in science, where they shared a budding passion for climbing. This passion grew as climbing gyms proliferated in France, particularly in urban areas.
A few years later, the idea for Delta took shape during a workout at Théodore's Parisian apartment. They dreamed of a practical and modular solution for training without drilling holes all over their home. The desire to create a product that would allow training to be adapted to each individual's needs, without constraints, was the starting point for Delta.
Samuel, a longtime friend and member of their climbing group, quickly joined them to bring this vision to life with his skills, particularly in design.
At Delta, we're climbers first and foremost. We understand your needs because we experience them every day. That's why we're committed to offering you products designed by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts.
